Environmental Badge	Distintivo ambiental
The classification of vehicles through the environmental badge aims to positively discriminate the most environmentally friendly vehicles and to be an effective instrument at the service of municipal policies, both restricting traffic in episodes of high pollution and promoting new technologies through tax benefits or those related to mobility and the environment. In some cities, this environmental badge is already being used to restrict traffic on high pollution days, prohibiting the circulation of vehicles that do not have it. Obtaining and affixing the badge is still voluntary (as at 01/02/2023) The sticker must be affixed to the lower right-hand corner of the front windshield, if available. Otherwise (in the case of motorcycles), in any visible place of the vehicle.	La clasificación de los vehículos a través del distintivo ambiental tiene comoé objetivo discriminar positivamente a los vehículos más respetuosos con el medio ambiente y ser un instrumento eficaz al servicio de las políticas municipales, tanto restrictivas de tráfico en episodios de alta contaminación, como de promoción de nuevas tecnologías a través de beneficios fiscales o relativos a la movilidad y el medio ambiente. En algunas ciudades ya se está utilizando este distintivo ambiental a la hora de restringir el tráfico en los días de alta contaminación, prohibiendo la circulación a los vehículos que carecen de él. La obtención y colocación del distintivo sigue siendo voluntaria (a 01/02/2023), esta debe hacerse adherido la pegatina en el ángulo inferior derecho del parabrisas delantero, si se dispone de él. En su defecto (en el caso de motocicletas), en cualquier sitio visible del vehículo.
The badges can be obtained from any Spanish Post office and costs 5€. You may be asked to pay more e.g.6€, as a donation to another organisation, but this is not obligatory. Other companies can obtain the badge for you but will likely charge an administration fee.	Los distintivos pueden obtenerse en cualquier oficina de Correos y cuestan 5 euros. Es posible que le pidan que pague más, por ejemplo 6€, como donativo a otra organización, pero no es obligatorio. Otras empresas pueden obtener el distintivo por usted, pero es probable que le cobren una tasa administrativa.

Any vehicles not within these 4 classifications are considered the most polluting and are not entitled to any type of sticker as they do not meet the requirements to be labelled as clean vehicles.	Los vehículos que no entran en estas 4 clasificaciones se consideran los más contaminantes y no tienen derecho a ningún tipo de pegatina, ya que no cumplen los requisitos para ser etiquetados como vehículos limpios.
